This is a comment from another site about whether Christians should be involved in the political/government process:

The Bible speaks to the christians responsibility to be light and salt in this world. The comments supra related to Joseph and Daniel make the case for christian ethics when God places them in govt. My role as a citizen in first century Roman totalitarin nondemocratc rule would be different than it would be if I were the Ruler. Likewise, my role is different in a constitutional republic where debate is promoted and as a mere citizen, I have a vote. Christians who wash their hands and neglect their responsibility to put forward

Right on brother. For as far back as I can remember, I have believed Christians should have been and should be involved in the political process. All during the 60-70's and beyond, Christians, as a whole, have stood by and done little or nothing about the political issues of the day. That very fact has led our nation down the track of schools w/o God and we, as a nation, have paid a heavy toll for our inaction for the last forty or so years. There are only two forces to be reckoned with, in this world, and when we exclude God there's only one thing left and he's, so to speak, laughing all the way to the bank of victory.

against what is good and righteous in the sight of God! I definitely vote and participate by letters to my Senator and Representative letting them know my views and to, hopefully, vote the way I would...but we have a MO Senator, with the last name of McCatskill who is definitely a Liberal Democrat and bows to BO's wishes...which makes me sick that she would be elected in because of manipulation and lies! I pray God will open more blinded eyes and deaf ears to those who need to see and hear the truth instead of believing the lies of Liberal Democrats and Socialists who are trying to destroy and almost have our nation! Amen! Ma
