6th in a row now for triple digit heat so far.....went out yesterday morning just the same. By 9am i had to hit the shaded ares and by noon i couldn't handle it any longer. Head started to throb and the ground was hard as a rock. The grass was dead so I didn't have to worry about killing it. Plugs just crumbled apart. I did find about 2 bucks and two small dice that were once gold platted. a old farm implement I assume and a drill bit along with a jewelers screw driver. Nothing worth keeping except the dice will go into the odd find collection tin.

I know what you mean about the heat !!! 118 degrees here yesterday..... 114 today . I went out at 5 this morning and by 6:30 had to quit , Already 100 !!!

Average winter temp here is , 80s - 90s , Just seems to get a little hotter every year ! The devil won't even visit here 1 Lol

Yea but shucks, ain't no dang gold in Alameda! It may be 111 degrees here today, but at least there's some dang gold
