This guy is a hero in my view

He gave his life to save his wife and another man...the act of a true hero. Please have a great day! Kelley (Texas) :)

what were so called experienced mountaineers doing up there so unprepared? I survived some nasty situations with extreme cold and wind even in the days when the clothing was three times as heavy as now. We had been taught to have the sense to prepare and also see trouble coming! Another layer of modern lifesaving clothing would have fit easily into a small pack and weighed next to nothing.....not a lot of sympathy here for those who would not think about the safety of less experienced or able people like that woman! Maybe because i spent a big part of my life babysitting greenhorns i take a narrow view:shrug:
