on all the other forums everyones whining about this and that , how detectors aren't any good anymore etc. etc.,
But this Forum Everyday there are new postings of sucessful hunts and interesting stories that keep a person inspired
very rarley do you hear of mechanical failures, GARRETT IS THE DETECTOR!

It really is true, this is a spirited forum, Mike and Garrett makes some fine detectors. My first was a CXII, one of the clunkiest things I ever swung - and man did it find some good stuff!

Some of the folks here are acclaimed experts in the field and have been instrumental in Garrett's detector developments over the years. These guys really are some of the best around and I am pleased and proud to be welcomed here, too.

There really is little whining or back stabbing either (although I confess to envy for over some of John' finds...).

Why is that, do you suppose? Personally, I think its the Garrett colors. Bright Green and now Yellow. Think about the others. What colors are they?

Yep, black. Brown. More Black. Tesoro has delved into grey in the past few, but lets face it, it's grey. Man, were talking dull.

But not Garrett. Green, green and more green. Saffron Yellow to knock your eyes out. It's psychological and bound to brighten up any detectorists outlook.

Dont be a stranger and post in more often!

I don't get that impression when I visit other forums. I get the impression everyone is very loyal to the company that make thier detector(s). But Garrett is certainly one of the best companies that manufacture detectors.
