...I placed an order with Cabela's last week...The box came in today.....EMPTY!!!:rofl:The order form was in there;the packing-but no item...I called them, and told them I had an issue with my package...They asked me what is the problem, and I told them the problem is the package was empty....After apologizing all over the place;they said they would send me out a replacement...Thats when I discovered the box had been very poorly taped up prior to shipment, and 1 side was torn open....prob'ly fell out,and somebody picked it up...Anyways,I told them ;in a polite way- that it looks like whomever prepared my order for shipment didnt do such a swell job-I have a feeling somebody is gonna have a heart-to-heart with their boss there real soon...:rant:P.S:I got it cleared for tomorrow off-Headed to Tawas Saturday Morning to do some dry sand screening electronically;:detecting:And maybe check out some waders at Norman's over that way-supposed to be sunny and mild all weekend; So,take my advice:IGNORE ALL YOUR ACHES AND PAINS,AND GO DETECTING!!Thats an order,people...

I won a cheap fish pole rig once. When it was delivered, somehow it fit into the rural mailbox???? When I opened it, the packer had conviently broken the pole into 4 equal length pieces to make the package mailable.Oh well, at least I got a good reel!

Dogface, that reminds me of many snows ago when I was playing semi-pro football. At halftime in one game, our team went into the dressing room. It was mid-November and cold. In the corner was a floor gas stove for heat. I put my helmet on the stove to warm it for the 2nd half. It's now time to return to the field....my helmet was now oval...I couldn't put it on. I had to borrow one to play. (That yr we went 13-0-2...quite a yr!)
