Twist top!!! It loves them. However the silver dime was next to one and the quarter was in the same hole as a bottle top. The target separation is great on this machine and I am getting the hang of the signals. Forget the numbers, as far as I am concerned they are useless. I listen to the sound that I thought would drive me absolutely crazy.

Totals, 17 wheat's, 4 clad dimes, 8 houses and the 56 Washington and a 52 Rosey.

I will keep digging twist tops till I am more comfortable that it is for sure one. I still haven't found a nickel yet. Going to air test one and play.

I am using the Parks program I found on here. Only program I have played with so far. I still haven't read the book yet. I figured playing with it would give me an idea of what to expect.

Great finds! Nice! Yesterday I found about 3 dollars clad, 1944 Mercury dime, 1944 wheat cent ,4 nickels and 1919 Buffalo Nickel. Strong 12-13 but around that in deep and I dig! Buffalo Nickel is 13-12 at about 7 inch deep.

Scuba... I'm a beach hunter mostly so far and on my beaches those screw tops (tall threaded ones) almost always hit at a pretty bouncy FE but a steady CO of 42 or 43 and are louder than a coin as well as they just sound different to me. I use Des Dunne's beach program with a modified disc pattern I got from Nukem on here...

Early on I figured out my E-Trac and me bond much better when I listen to the sounds only, and not gaze at the screen.

The ID numbers are good in some applications, but overall I am a tone hunter when using the E-Trac.

I run a pretty wide open discrimination pattern on most hunts.

I use the 5" SunRay coil in conducive when hunting aluminum infested trash areas, just go slow and cherry pick all coin tones.

Canadian nickels hit 13-13 on my etrac (not the steel ones) nge
