It was storming this morning thunder and lightning so no metal detecting for me. My wife asked if I would like to go to a yard sale with her. While looking around I ran across a box with some watches and jewelry in it, the watches were $10.00 each. Without even picking up the jewelry I could see the 14k mark on one of the rings. So I scooped up all three pieces of jewelry, 2 14k rings and a 10k cross. and asked the lady what she wanted for all three. She looked at them and said to my disbelief, one of them is 10k so you can have all three for $20.00. After getting home I checked all three, The large ring was 14k 5.7 grams and has Tanzinite stones. The small ring 14k 2 grams. the cross was 10k 3.4 grams and has 4 diamond chips ,some rubys,and topaz. It is hanging on a chain around my wifes neck as we speak.

Treasure is where you find it Joe and you found a REAL SAP! Some folks just don't have a clue WHAT they have. Garage sales are a great way to treasure hunt, guess you figured that one out, LOL! Guess I need to hit more of those, but they are mostly on Saturday and that is a workday for me. Some of us ain't retired yet, savvy? OBTW, nice of you to be honest about where you found the loot, instead of claiming you found it, like some folks do on the other boards.
