Hi Everyone
I'm a newbie here from the southwest of West Aussie. I recently got hold of a GTI 1500, took it out to a few spots around town to give it ago. Well this is going to be some serious fun, found 3 half penny's at an old church and a heap of coins and a ring at a park just down the road from me and we are going to try an old mill town the weekend so that should be interesting.

Regards Dennis

Thas wonderful! Think you can prospect for gold with that puppy?
I bet you can really clean up at the beaches!!!!!

Looks like you are off to a flying start. Glad to see you are digging targets over the full range of the detector. Quickest way to learn it.
is that a Kiwi 1 cent piece in the picture?
Good luck with the 1500.
Mick Evans.

Nice pile of loot there Dennis but it all looks foreign to me.......:ausflag:

Nice haul and welcome. Is that ring gold?

Thanks everyone

Went to a beach on the weekend to have a play only came up with 10c and heaps of alli cans so moved onto a little townsite with an old park found a few 2 and 1c coins and a new penny. Driving through noticed a few houses in a row that weren't occupied so might have to do some research to see who owns them. Mick there are a couple of 1 and 2c there from the land of the long white cloud LOL
Not sure on the ring, its not gold in colour more of a light copper there are letters inside jm375 ? Rollon next weekend hehehe
