This car was ahead of the others and well built,

In high school, I worked in a body shop and bought a 40 Willis, less motor and trans, it was in rough shape, I paid $12.50 and gave it to my boss, he fixed it up.
We put a 37 Buick Road Master straight 8 motor, 345 ci, and trans, we changed the trans to open drive line. This was in 1959....Those were the good ole days.

Is that a "rumble seat" in the red car? ...Not sure , but it looks like it could be.

The gas was cheap, but it was real gas, with lead....
How many remember, a good tuned motor on a long trip,
the inside of the tail pipe would be white ???
