This beach hunting is kinda fun and maybe even more fun if I had a scoop!

I've been detecting on land for about 25 years but thought I might try beach hunting this year which is kinda ironic since I live right across the street from the beach. No shortage of beaches where I live and my relic hunting on land is mostly during the winter months. This was yesterdays finds from the old dock across the street. Also got about 20 lbs of pulltabs, bottlecaps and fishing sinkers. That was alot of digging with a little garden trowel. It took me a few minutes and a couple of tries to get out of bed this moring.

That's something we can't do day in and day out - HUH -
I cant believe you dug all that with a garden shovel!!!

Can you post some close ups Of the Rings??

And the Trash - We wanna see how hard you working!!!

Simple Unbelievable

Not to many beach hunters around here so the pickings are going to be easier compared to your beaches. This old dock is very popular for swimming. In the summer there is a float placed at the end of the dock and the kids like to jump off the high end and swim to the float. You can only get out to the end of the dock to detect during a minus 2-2.5 tide which only happens a few times a year. You can't swing the coil 6 inches without getting a good signal. I hunted it for two days prior to this hunt and had pulled 11 rings from those hunts so that is a total of 18 rings that I've pulled from under and around the end of the dock. None of them that great but I'm sure there is still some to be found.
