Third trip a charm..Gold:drinking:

My third trip out with my new AT Gold netted me a nice ladies 10K gold ring. I decided to hit a tot lot with the theory it might be light on trash and have a good number of coins to get a feel of my new detector. I previously had dug a lot of nickel numbers with a slightly broken, crackling signal. They were all square aluminum pop can tabs. I was near the end of my hunt in the tot lot when I got the same solid nickel reading with a slight broken, crackling signal. I said what the heck I 'm trying to learn the machine, so I dug it. It was barely an inch deep. A nice ring with two green stones and two missing stones. The bracelet was a solid nickel reading, but wasn't gold. It's marked "Monet". A Google search showed Monet jewelry sold at J.C. Penny for around $12.00. . All in all a fun hunt. Think I'm going to like the AT Gold when I learn its language.

Thanks for lookin' and keep on diggin'
