Third coil needed...

Dang

Active member
First thanks for the headphones advice guys.
Now I wonder if I should pickup another coil for my Bandido II uMax.
I have the stock 8" donut and a the 4" coil. Awhile ago I had a spider coil for it
but didn't see any difference between that and the donut so I sold it.
Any recommendation ?
And thanks again.

The 7" Widescan can be picked up new for around $75 and it works great on that machine in the gravel parking lots with trash around. What type of hunting do you like to do? Another suggestion would be the more common 5.75" concentric.

I was just checking out the 7" widescan right after I posted this too ToneTime. I once had a Toltec 100 and I believe it had a 8" widescan coil. I loved it!
I should have kept that machine. Widescan....hummmmm.
And a 5.75 concentric also? Okay...which one out the the two ? Like suppose your wife would only agree to letting you get one coil. ( hypothetically speaking of course. )

Dang,
I like the balance and size of the 7" coil. I would love to find one of these in concentric but they stopped selling them, that's why I got the Widescan. I do like the concentric coils overall better and the 5.75 concentric is a great coil, I just tend to get my coil swing too fast from time to time with it and mentally have to think about slowing it down. I can't imagine what it would be like with that 4 incher coil you have. The 7" is thicker and weighs a bit more but not much. With this said it is really up to you, hope this info helps.
