Thinking of trading

I been thinking about trading my 705 for an Explorer or possibly a Gold Bug to hunt coins with. I have a Whites GMT for gold hunting.
I have the 705 pls stock mid coil plus 5x10 upper coil and the small upper coil plus a low coil too.
Am I making a mistake ...........

I have an Explorer SE, and FWIW, it will go down the road long before I ever part with my 705.

There simply isn't another single frequency detector on the market that allows as much user defined control as the 705, and for that reason alone I'll always have one.

Unless you are hunting for coins on a wet, salt water beach, stick with the 705. Especially since you have all those great coils !

Heck, you can go gold jewelry hunting in the dry sand with the HF coils and be light years ahead of an Explorer in that regard. Faster recovery, lighter weight. Put the LF coil on and sniff out those silver coins.

I guess what I am saying is...KEEP THE 705 !

I think you folks might be right, I do already got the equipment so why trade it off.
all the coils are from---tot lots and parking areas plus a few fresh water sandy places where folks go to fish and the kids play.

Think I will keep it............Hmmm must of had a brain flutter or sumthin like that.

The Gold Bug at 19 kHz shouldn't do better than your X-Terra for coins especially since you mention you already have a low freq. coil.

I'll always have a Minelab in my arsenal.:minelab:
