Thinking about undertaking the task of waterproofing a machine, any inputs or experience welcomed

Hi all, I am just interested in the prospect of waterproofing a machine. Actually, ironically, it is already a water machine, but it is one in which the housing has already bowed, and the unit has leaked on me. It is an older White's PI Pro unit which is long since out of warranty - and White's just charges too much $$$ to keep fixing it. I love the way the White's PI machines work, but I really don't like their box design as it is very prone to leakage, plus their U/W headphones don't fit my liking. I am considering the task of buying/installing a waterproof box for it and moving all the guts to it. Does anyone know of a good waterproof camera box or some other waterproof plastic box that is commercially available that would be good for this task? I suppose this box would need to be around 9" x 5" x 5" to be of suitable size - and I suppose would have to be waterproof to at least 10 feet depth. Any help or opinions would be welcomed.

Thanks,

Mark

You can try pelican waterproof boxes, they have a 1060 box witch i think you want, and here is the other place where you can get your waterproof ends to run your cable through. Harold in fla.

Harold, thanks. I will give that manufacturer a look = looks like a nice place to get the goods for this project.
