Thinking about purchasing a Tiger Shark and have a few questions.....

I have a Silver Umax 10.6khz, that finds me small earring's, where as, another detector at that I have at 2.4khz, will not pick them up, ( this is on fresh water beach's)...........willl the Tiger Shark at 12.5khz give me the same results as my Umax......also how does the T S handle salt water beach's, wave action and bumping the sand bottom with the coil......any falsing.......Last question the internal settings like sensitivity are they easy to adjust while you are at a salt water beach.......U would think Tesoro would have put this control on the outside of the control box for easy access.......Thanks.....

Yes....the Tiger is sensitive to small gold, it just depends on where you have disc. set at. The sensitivity I set outdoors away from elec. interferance, basically set it then forget it. In the saltwater, I don't have an answer for that, as I hunt fresh water lakes. I have heard it is not too good in the salt.In a fresh water environment I get no falsing at all. I set the disc at Iron on the Silver Umax and pick up the small earrings............Still need to hear from some salt water users........Sandman you still out there.......Thanks.....
