Thinking about making my own headphones for the At Pro

I was looking at this guide http://ubuntuone.com/p/bWr/ and i think if i cannibalize the cheap Garrett pair that came with my detector, i can get some of the parts i would need including the Garrett headphone connector and the rest of the parts should be pretty cheap! I already found a good shell here http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180647224490&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Are you dissatisfied with the headphones you have

I have heard it said that if you spend $1000+ on a good detector "or in our case half that:yo:" you should use a good pair of headphone to fully take advantage of all your detector has to offer.
