Thinking about an Soveriegn

7centsworth

Well-known member
currently using x-terra 70 and really like it. I have just gotten into relic hunting and was wondering how much better the gt would be over the x-terra. Depth , tones , tracking all that kind of thing. Thanks

If you search this forum you'll find some XTerra comparisons. The Sovereign is deeper and better in so many ways. I had a friend who owned an Xterra for about a month or two. It was not impressive to him having owned other Minelabs. Don't get me wrong, good machines, but "typical" VLF detectors like so many other brands.

Don't think too long you have till the 17th of January to beat the increase in price!

[size=large]Well 7 centsworth i've had a few soveriegns and i got a xterra 70 also, and the Soveriegn was always deeper for me, they all have their little secrets in them and have to learn them, just like the xterra, it will be just your preffence of what you would feel better with. i've had all different brands of detectors and they are all different, so good luck with your choice. I have not had a chance to use my Sovergn as of yet but ....
what is really nice is having the option to either hip mount
or chest mount the detector box.

It's said to be a great beach machine and can be used
on land as well.

Whatever you decide ...good luck and "Happy Hunting" !
