Thinking about a White's purchase

Hi,

I'm just starting and I am planning to purchase a White (MXT, ?) of some sort next week. I was wonder if anyone can suggest the correct machine and the extra tools and such.

The plan is to use a multipurpose unit because I travel between beach and mountains. So gold, silver and coins plus other stuff will be the object of my search.

I'm open to suggestions and ideas how to start doing this.
