About 25 years ago there was a Horse Meat Meat Market in Portland Oregon SO I tried Horse Burger--I did not like it But the steaks were MUCH better than Beef--I ate it for a year then it closed--I had a friend who had money to buy anything he wanted.(Like a new Mersedies car each year--Then keep last years to drive as a clunker)He liked it also--We had a dinner for his mother and I cooked horse but did not tell her what it was--She kept raving about how good the steak was.--She never was told it was horse meat--Wish I could still buy horse steaks,If I could I would never ever buy beef
