this summer as my aunt & uncle own 2 cottages in Plymouth Mass. on a hill overlooking a long privite beachfront. The cottages go back to the early 1900's as well....
They said I can have a free 3 day weekend when it's not booked this summer in return for helping them move. Should be a blast to hang out, check out where the Pilgrims landed, do some detecting, maybe with with my new little huntin' buddy. :twodetecting: Maybe Mr. Bill can join us, as I know he's close by on the Cape....

That is a great looking beach. Quite similar to some of the Lake Michigan shoreline in this area. Minus the salt of course!

Check out this merc dime I dug at low tide with the rough prototype of the ID-Excel (It was in a C$ box then)....This coin's in AU coundishun (almost unrecognizable) ;)

I've dug some pretty nasty coins in the lakes around here but nothing like that.

Here's some that prior to electrolysis had a thick black crust build up that made them twice actual size. Not much left after cleaning but at least there is some detail.
