Think I need 2 detectors

I think i've finally decided after months and months of posting on forums, reading forums, viewing video after video, that I need 2 detectors. One that can perform awesome in trashy areas (which is 75% of where I hunt) And another that can get
extreme depth in areas not as trashy. I've been detecting for over 30 years so I'm not a newbie, got lots of relics and coins. But i'm old school with an awesome old school 1266. But i'm ready for a change. I'm fixing here shortly to call Bart and order a G2 and an F70, that should be enough ammo. Opinions from you folks would be respected and appreciated.

Exellent choice you will not be disapointed with the G2 It will gitter done where you need it most.

Do you really think so? I've just heard the f70 is so much deeper, but not near as good in trash.

My F5 was sitting in the corner collecting dust since January of this year, I put it away in it's box two weeks ago !

I would get the G2 pro and both coils it is better then the F70 and if you cherry pick at parks you will do really well and wait till the next newest detector comes out maybe next year.

Im getting the 11" coil.Im more impressed with the gold bug pro the more I learn it.Its easy to use.Simple like your 1266.Im certain the f70 is alot more complex.
It took me a year to figure out my eagle spectrum and get good depth with it.Its taken me less than 2 months to get some good depth on the goldbugpro with the 5" coil.

If your in area's of low trash, the use of all-metal mode will get you depth.Im certain it will beat your 1266 with the 11" coil in all-metal mode.In minerlized soil Is where it really shines I am guessing.
