We got 4 inches of rain last week, 2 more today, and they are saying 2 more Friday. All the fields here are major wet with standing water all over them.
I had cut a bunch of trees over the winter, just ran a ring around them on the bottom and was going to finish dropping them. But not like it is... No fire dangers in this area right now for sure. At least it isn't snow although they say some it might be Saturday as the storm wraps up in the higher elevations like here. Last week was great, but this week, no so great. Thats about it, pretty quiet here right now...Just raking or blowing leaves and picking up limbs off the trails.... No flowers out around here yet. Crocus are usually the first ones up and none yet..

Pretty nice in Vancouver, may get some detecting in soon, say Geo when you have those motorise events do you have an ambulance on standby or just phone if needed? oj

I can't make up my mind if to buy a motorcycle but have an interest in the Yamaha 250 entry cruiser... nice looking bike also.

one for the day with crew and the other 4 are volunteers from the local towns attached to our town. It lets their people get a lot of practice. We pay each ambulance crew either a certain amount per event, or we purchase them things they need for the station, like last year we got them and adult dummy and child dummy, that they practice on. We also have police there for security and one fire department. We have never needed them in 42 years but we bring them anyhow. We used to race under NASCAR rules in the pit where the bikes were so we were required to have fire equipment and department. We no longer are required but have them anyhow. LIke I say, we donate our money to local organizations. Lions club provides a lot of the food like hamburgers, hotdogs, fries, drinks, but we also have 2 roach coaches and popcorn stand, and soft serve ice cream truck.

Sometimes all our ambulances are gone at once, then we have to stop racing and wait for one to return. The 4 local ones are on call from their own town also and leave if they are called. The one we lease is ours and remains with us all day... We normally have between 500 and 800 racers on the start line throughout the day and about 2000 spectators.

I'll see what I have left on the hard drive from last years pictures and post some for you. If not, we have our first event on April 10 and I will have pictures up every week after that all summer....

If you want to check out the web site there, go ahead. Thats my gift to the club and I have been doing it for about 13 years now. Its mostly informational for the club and anyone who might want to race there. The clickable icons at the top of front page will take you all over it, and if you go in the forums, thats where all the informatiion is, movie clips, pictures etc are.

to go in there just click on this link....... Central Cycle Club Motocross
