think i found a good spot

I stoped at a old park and steped out of my car and as soon as i turned on my m6 it hit a penny then several moor and a dime i only hunted 15 minits and the heat got the best of me but i wpuld like to go back and do a better search i always get so siked up but when i leave im a bit more realistic you almost have to have a gambling mentality or the pop tabs and beer bottle tops get the best of you

Gunnar I know what you mean i am at the end of another 4 day off period from hunting thanks to the heat. I am not only running into pulltabs but tons of that can slaw from the lawn mowers chewing everything up!

greg i think the parks should pay us for all the trash we clean up i went to the beach and found all kinds of rusty nails and sharp things that will never cut a foot now , weell my reward will be a gold ring whith a 2 carot gem in it some day

If they paid us for all the trash we took out we would be rich! I know I have done my fair share at several parks and playgrounds. Hey Gunnar maybe we will have to hit the park you are talking about.

good , its in st fransis finding some old stuff thear lots to hunt yet st fransis was built in the mid 1850s maybe we can find some 5 dallar gold pieces thear goes my imagination again how about a 20 gallon salt glazed crock full of silver dollars can you imagine lifting the lid how do we not know its not thear waiting //?

Gunnar my most surprising find this year came up lifting something up! I was in an area where our panhandlers live in one of the local parks. Got a very loud and clear quarter reading as I turned to leave area by a tree. Lifted up a pile of leaves and there were 50 coins totaling over $8 in clad!:clapping: That was my most fun find this year.

I know what you mean about letting the imagination run though!

But you never know what the next dig might bring!!!!:hot:

sometimes my imagination pays off i was sifting a narrow in rice creek and finding old bottle tops a few arrow heads and i just kept going and found a copper point
