Things i learned today from my MTX.

After reading a few others that tried this I used relic mode with trigger forward, dis set on first preset, gain at 1 1/2. I was totally impressed with the way it works in that mode. Much better than coin mode. I bought it yesterday and am learning as i go. I upgraded form a IDX. Much improvement.

Things i learned today:

1. In relic mode with the trigger position forward, discrimination set on first notch, gain set 1 1/2 - 2 is murder on clad coins.

2. In this mode a pull tab can be ANYWHERE from 10 to 5 billion vdi...ha ha

3. In this mode if you get a locked or almost locker id it "can" be something other than a pull tab but ain't likely....ha ha

4. In this mode if it says penny dime or uarter and is solid its gonna be just that.

5. In this mode ANY solid sound/lock is worth digging. Reread post # 2. and 3. ha ha
