Things are starting to heat up.....................

Fisher coming out with a new F 19 detector by June's end. Also a new Teknetics, possible upgrade of the G2 about the same time.....add to that a new Minelab this year as well. We still have no date on the Cazador???? Tesoro this is not the time to sleep......throw some info to your loyal customers you owe them that. A release date would go along ways to make me happy.............how about it? If the F19 looks good, many won't wait and it may be adios for the Cazador.

I won't buy another Fisher or Tek, they may work great, just too noisey, have EMI issues, they mask too many good targets. The Fisher, Tek machines just don't mesh with me.
But, might be interested in the new Detectorpro Water machine. Still have my Wader, since 2004, still works great. Had it longer than any other machine......just waiting to see the price.
So kind of like waiting to see which I want more the Caz or DP.

Tell ya what..I am a simple guy. Just upgrade the Vaq to have the dual discrimination feature/trigger switch functionality and pitch control of the Tejon !

A release date to make you happy? I'd be really stocked if you actually did end up purchasing a new Cazador.

Couldn't you just buy a Tejon now, and not have to wait?

Dan, that was my thought as well when I read the post this morning.

Ivan do you have this info from positive souces on the new detectors being released?
Ive read about the fisher and tesoro but nothing about the minelab or g2.

The V has a smaller control box, and I have a Plugger straight rod I mount it on. The 14Khz freq does better in the areas I hunt. I like a single, 9V battery.

So hence my reasoning of combining the best of both worlds.

Heck, a guy can dream can't he ?

The Minelab Looks somewhat like a Garrett ATX in Blue SDC 2300.
Actually old news if this is the one your asking about. It was announced back in Dec.

Yeah man I agree with you on this. The V can hang close with the Tejon on a lot of targets yet maintains that small control box and 9volt battery that keeps most tesoros so light so it makes a lot of sense to just mod it a little. I think it was a poster named Bleaver? who put some pics up of slightly modded Umax tesoros, really nice mods that I think most Tesoro users would appreciate.
