John, First OFF, let ME say that I have ALOT of R-E-S-P-E-C-T for YOU and the GARRETT Metal Detectors Co.!! YOU have ALWAYS been EXTREMELY H-E-L-P-F-U-L in Answering
any questions, that MYSELF and Others have asked in regards to Most GARRETT Products!! Also, Steve Moore of GARRETT Metal Detectors has made Some FANTASTIC, and
EASY to UNDERSTAND How-To Videos on the GARRETT A-T Series of metal detectors, as well as some OTHER GARRETT Videos!! I Don't know of Any Other metal detector Manufacturer, that has went to the EXTENT, that GARRETT Metal Detectors has in CREATING a Company Video Library!!
But, No ONE is TELLING US, or SHOWING US whether the D-E-P-T-H SENSITIVITY Capabilities have been INCREASED on PROPointer AT!! I for One, will be Very D-I-S-A-P-P-O-I-N-T-E-D if the OWNER of the NEW Pinpointer, CANNOT GET an INCREASE in the DEPTH via the Button Control Switch to AT LEAST 3"!! Instead of the Standard 2" Depth SENSITIVITY of the Reg. GARRETT Black ProPOINTER, which I L-O-V-E, and have been USING since THEY first came on the Market!! I'm sure that YOU are aware, that several Pinpointers that have Come on the MARKET after the GARRETT ProPOINTER have IMHO COPIED the GARRETT's BASIC Design!! BUT, several have INCREASED the DEPTH Capabilities SIGNIFICANTLY, via PUSHING the BUTTON a couple of TIMES, and Listening for a RESPONSE Indicator!! Spending ALOT of M-O-N-E-Y on a W-E-A-K Waterproof PINPOINTER is COUNTER Productive to ME, because I already have the Latest VIBRA-PROBE that gets a SOLID 1" on a TARGET, and it's WATERPROOF to 35 ft. As YOU know, the BENEFIT of a Pinpointer is to HELP Detectorists in the RECOVERY of Potentially V-A-L-U-A-B-L-E Buried TARGETS without S-C-R-A-T-C-H-I-N-G or D-A-M-A-G-I-N-G them!!
Can YOU Please SHOW US in a VIDEO how F-A-R in Depth that the PROPOINTER AT will PINPOINT a TARGET!! Curious MINDS want to Know!! MANY THANKS, Les Robinson.
