hi everybody, went out for a quick hunt this morning before the sun could come up and melt away my resolve like an ice cube in a skillet. i found a union kepi buckle with leather still attached, an ornate brass coat hanger looking thing, a spencer shell end, a rolled piece of lead, piece of harmonica reed, a copper tube, and a large round piece of threaded brass that looks to be an old flashlite end with an odd looking " L" on it, surrounded by a wreath. well, i didn't find much, but i tried. plan on going back out this evening to even the score and collect more ticks! hh,

Hi Ghost , Looks like a Good Hunt , Very Interesting flashlight end , Good Luck

Hey, It's the hunt that counts sometimes. You got to go out and have some fun anyways. You must have as good a tick collection as I do  Some still attached. I'm going out early (4:30 AM) this Saturday, with a crazy friend who obviously doesn't sleep (hear that Dan?). Hopefully we'll get some goodies. Good luck on your night hunt, and you too Terri. HH

(ya i hear that coinnut)bring something warm it'll be chilly without the doors on the jeep at 4:30 in the morning :yo:. and i have a good feeling about the hunt

At least you got to go for a while. Our daughter stayed with my wife for a half day yesterday, so I went fishing with an old fishing buddy. Caught 21 real nice bream and had them for supper tonight. Mighty good. Dang ticks all around the pond too. Maybe we can get together soon. HH.
