They say that you can't un-ring the bell...

...bu I think you may be able to with this one. founde this in a local park last week. It is engraved 'Wisconsin' across the bottom and on the banner it says '100th' and to the right of the banner is says 2003. I have no idea what 2003 might have been the 100th anniversary of and the bell has obviously been run over by a lawnmower once to often so whatever else it might have said is gone. Since my sister has collected bells for years, I gave it to her. Told her that while it wasn't the prettiest bell she ever got, it was probably the most unique. It rang up as a dime and was about 3 inches deep on the soccer field sidelines in a local park.

:usaflag:Cool find.....I wanna find a bell too !:super:

I didn't have it checked, but I doubt that it's silver. It's really soft metal and fairly heavy so I suspect it might be lead....or at least mostly lead.
