They may not be pretty...

but they're all mine. The Barber dime looks like it is a 1903, but it's so worn it's hard to tell for sure. The Mercs are 1917 & 1923. The trade token is for Keeney's Refresh-Mints - lots of them for sale on ebay. The jar lid is from Pond's Extract Co. and dates from 1914 to probably the 1930s. I never do find the lid with a jar full of coins attached. lol

All silver is pretty! And you have to admit, even the old gal dated 1903 is still looking good for being 111 years old! Good stuff. HH Randy

Pretty enough for sure

Yes still nice finds, I found one of the ponds jars a while back with a rattle inside took a half hour to get the lid off and it had dry dirt inside, maybe next time.

I think they're pretty enough. Nice silver.

Hey guys, thanks for all the nice comments. All three of the dimes were 6-7" deep and gave very iffy, one-way signals. To make matters worse the Barber was on edge. They all came in around 12-43. That makes nine silver coins and around 40-50 wheats in what is supposed to be a hunted out park. We finally got a decent rain last night so I can't wait to get back out and see how much deeper the CTX will go in moist soil.

Just goes to show that a coin doesn't have to give a solid two-way signal to be picked up by the CTX.

You got that right by the way those are some great coins . sube

Nice coins and relics of a bygone era...

Mercs and Barbers are pretty, pretty, pretty, coins! Yep, the CTX will hit on almost every coin, if you work it around a bit.

Found her older sister and and a friend today. Looks sure don't run in that family! lol Both dimes were pretty iffy, one way signals. The Barber was around 6" deep and the Merc was around 4". The ground was pretty wet as we finally got a good rain yesterday and last night.

The 14K gold pendant is the first gold item I've ever found! That was quite a surprise. The signal was a solid hit, but the VID was jumping between 12-11 to 12-15, showing a depth of 3-4"; almost didn't dig it.
