I keep finding new stuff on the Dodge Grand Caravan I bought last month. I noticed that when the radio is on the music seems to come from everywhere so today I opened that puppy up from one end to the other and counted the speakers. Can you believe ten freakin speakers? Four in front and six in the back. Now that's what you call surround sound. :)

Welccome to the 21st century!!!
Just couldnt resist!!!Lol. Actually we use to have one a 97 model. I dont remember;but it had either 6 or 8 speakers I think.HH

Yeah I know. I had to have a starter replaced on my old van awhile back and the crook charged me $182 for a rebuilt one and $95 an hour labor. By the time I paid $100 for a tow and had to rent a van to pick up my stranded, quadriplegic, wife - that starter cost me over $600. Give me the good old days when one could afford to breathe.

Yeah I think six would have been sufficient. My old van has four and sounds just fine. Seems like overkill. Then each front seat passenger has their own individual heating and AC controls. The rear seat passengers have their own adjustable AC vents and their own AC controls in a console in the ceiling. Just to much junk to go wrong and cost a fortune to fix after the warranty runs out.

Wish I still had my old 1930 Model-A Sport Roadster I had when I was a kid. Also it would now be worth a whole lot more than this van. :)

Tell you what Bill, these companies keep giving all these options and pretty soon they will become standard equipment, and the engine and trans will be optional.
