A short hunt with the kids on Monday. They are on spring vacation. While at the beach I had to do some quick 'modifications' to the Ace's and tape plastic bags around the units to avoid the rain getting in - light at that time - heavy when we were driving home. I was using the Sea Hunter Mark II and could only manage a couple of coins (well, three coins but I lost one to the elder son in our post-hunt game that we play! and the junk pieces - first row of the pic.
Younger son's result in the second row - one coin and two rings. Bit worried about him because I think he thinks the headphones also play music too - I often see/hear him singing away to himself!
Elder son's, bottom row - which made him very happy because he hasn't been out for a while. Also pic of him giving his detector a clean back at the car. Younger son wouldn't have any of that though and was into the front seat quickly. LOL

I can't believe how many rings you guys get. And....on every hunt for that matter. You should do a little summary on detecting in Japan and email it to this guy at Garrett. I'm sure he would love to put it in their "SEARCHER" magazine. I know I would love to read it!

Will drop him an email now, but would prefer to give the kids to the end of this year with their detectors though (i.e. a full year) - maybe better to write a story for Garrett then.......so it could be a winter read for you to help avoid that cabin fever, or increase it depending on how you look at it. LOL
