TheTesoro Eldorado Finds A Dog Bone:smile:

I took my newly acquired Eldorado (uMax style) out for the first time this morning. I really like this detector a lot with the 8 inch brown doughnut coil attached to it. It's one sweet sounding machine. I like it better than my Bandido II uMax. This detector is a keeper.

I had the discrimination set at the preset mark and digging all good repeatable signals. I've been over this area a couple of times before in the past, but I'm still finding targets that I missed. I got a good hit and dug down about 4 inches in the hard clay dirt and found a little dog charm. I ran the coil back over the hole before covering it and I got another good hit. I thought it might be another charm, but it was just the dog's tiny bone that it lost.

The 925 silver butterfly ring was about 3 inches deep. I don't how I missed this ring before, because I know I passed a coil over that same very spot at least 2 times.

I had a very enjoyable day out with my Tesoro Eldorado.:tesoro::usaflag:

Hi tabman,

The Eldo picked up on that tiny 'dog bone' becuase of lower discrimination than even the Bandido on set on minimum disc. I'm thinking that the Garrett pinpointer would have trouble with that target, just my assumtions, nice discovery that the Eldo is that sensitive.

That's cool!!!

Congrats on the silver ring! I think finding the dog bone is very cool! Just shows how senistive the Eldorado is! Very good hunt! Beale.
