Hi All,

Had to share a lucky find from the weekend. I was out working my way through the various road apples left from a horse show at a fairground and came across this little chunk of treasure. It hit hard with a 45, 5 inches down on the 5.3 coil. Modified Hi-Pro

It's a nice little gold ring, although I don't think there's much gold in it. The inner marking is 1/20 10K GF ->MH<- Which means it's 1/20th of the weight is gold.

But it was still a fun find!!

A GF ring is still a real nice find, substantially more gold than a plated ring and the gold is mechanically bonded to the base metal, not just plated.

It's value is better than sterling (by weight) and a very nice find. Big diff between G. F. and plate.
