There's Going To Be A Change To My Hole Shot Photos

I just got this in the mail today. I sure hope it works out the way that I think it will, because I'm sure tired of replacing the tape and plastic wrap on my Pro Pointer just about every day when there's wet conditions. The bright color will make it easy to find if misplaced.

I don't think the guy who sell them is a forum sponsor, nor do any of the forum sponsors carrying them as far as I know, so you'll have to find them yourself by goggling 'garrett pinpointer cover'. I paid $13.50 shipped for mine.

No it's not, but I think it's going to be a great improvement and all that's really needed to handle the wet grass and mud.

Those outer cases do work well, you can buy them from the 4 letter website starting with a 'E' and ending with a 'y',one thing i cannot understand is why the brand that makes that probe made the lower end detectors bright yellow and the probes black. The probe have a greater chance of getting lost than a detector.

Also its wise to use one of those safety coiled security clips on the probe as well.

Good Idea

ever try a vibraprobe? i have the 850--waterproof, built like a tank and works.

No I haven't. It's a little big for my liking and the reviews weren't encouraging for the way I use a pinpointed. It seems better suited for water detecting.

Update after several uses.

It may be a little expensive for what it is, but it's worth every penny, because it works really well.
