There Has To Be A Good Reason

A lot of those forums are next to dead. Tesoro has the best forum and the best posters.

Too many sub forums break the family.

I'm interested in reading about all Tesoro detectors in one spot, not have to switch between sub forums.
Besides tricks you learn about one model can be used when using another.

Findmall is probably the best, longest lasting metal detecting forum out there. I agree many other forums
are sort of dying out..............

Good points Sven , I'm in agreement .

I'm interested in all tesoros and happy there all here in one spot:cheers::tesoro:

I agree, but I think it would be nice to have sub categories within the Tesoro Fourm, there is alot of great information here, but its kind of a hodgepodge. I read great info, then want to re read at a later date, and can never find it again.

I kind of like it this way. I dont have to jump all around trying to find the compadre and jump to tiger shark.. It is all right here. Like Yab Man said,, Look at some of them other subs. They havent been visited for days or longer.. I kind of like our giant family right here. If I see something that someone might need a little help on. If I can help, I will. I like it right here... KEN

I really like this form the way that it is. All of the info is in one place, and if I am looking for a particular post I run a search.

Good topics about great detectors from knowledgeable people.

Rob

When I see a certain detector gets it's own forum, especially referred to as a "classroom" I lose all interest in that model. If a detector is so complicated to use that you need a dedicated forum, than that detector is not for me. I like simple. The rest of my life is complicated enough, my precious detecting time is to be enjoyed, not another exercise in high tech gadgetry.

That's just my opinion as it applies to me. To each, their own.

The reason is many manufacturers you have to be a rocket scientist to operate and well Tesoro's are user friendly...

I think findmall puts them up there by request and also the manufacturers probably kick in some money to help support them?

Perhaps separating the Tesoro "finds" from theTesoro general chat woud makes things easier? I kinda like everything in one spot too though.

YES! Could not agree more:thumbup:

I like to read all about the different tesoros and see what model I would like to try next so this works great for me.
The hard part is I just want to try them all ......:tesoro:

EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!

Sure. There's an explanation.

Ohter companies change models so frequently they have to set up multiple forums just to keep all of them straight.

Yes! That's it.

I like the Tesoro forum as it is. I also have a MX5 and thought it would be on the MXT forum..... but it's on the regular whites forum. So go figure.....LOL !

This has been mentioned below but deserves repeting. This forum is just fine. You haven't got to look all over the internet for help. You have plenty of help by knowledgeable detectorists and there is an upside to fewer forums in that your knowledge base is concentrated in one area.
