Take your pick. They're all going to be classics.

I think the Compadre will be a cult classic if it ever is discontinued, it has the quieter discrimination circuit of the first Bandido series. Kind of like a dead artists painting going up in value when they die, give me an oldie but goody Bandido over these newer Vaquero's....... Cibola's and other modern Tesoros........My two zincs.

There are quit a few.One is the pantera.Which I have 2 of.
Mount it on a straight shaft and man o man.No weight at all.

Actually took the time to read the topic.

The tejon maybe. Some improvements to the battery compartment, especially the doors needs to be addressed.
The cortes if it had manual ground balance that would become the next classic especially with using the upgraded coils.
As far as the umax units go .Have they improved the current crop that much over the older umax models?

So personally these two with a little bit of tweaking could be the next classics

I think you would find it hard to make a list of which tesoro detectors were just not worth a plumb nickel and be unable to pick a single one. I think they have done a fine job through the years and with their warranty they rock.

carnt arguee Jim am finding it hard to use other band machines at this point the GB seems to be sitting doing not much these days but will get some use at the gold fields if i ever make it there.

but please dont let me distract anyone.

i vote Cibola.
