I recently acquired a used White's BeachHunter ID. The first thing I had to do was to get rid of the S-rod configuration and the stock arm cuff. I put this together using the diver's rod with the pistol grip,a conglomeration of spare rod parts, a stainless steel arm cuff, and a can of yellow Krylon spray paint. It's well balanced and breaks down nicely for travel.

Next I converted the control box to a shoulder mount configeration. It worked O.K. but I wasn't quite satisfied with it.

So, I bought a web belt from Bass Pro, cut off the excess, and converted it to a hip mount configuration.

The biggest drawback that I found with the BHID is that it doesn't have an adjustable volume control. So, I took a pair of Timberwolfs and finished off the remaining paint. I haven't waterproofed them yet but that can be done easily enough with silicone.

Now I have a balance machine that I can hunt with all day long. The headphones are comfortable and there is little fatigue. O.K., let's see what you have!
