the xlt and 8 inch blue max coil are a perfect match

I decided to put on a 8 inch bluemax coil I had here already mounted on a lower rod. I had been using the 5.3 bullseye in trashy parks for awhile. I have a large sports field I usually go to and try out different detectors and coils. I went around the outer perimeter yesterday with another machine with a dd coil and found a couple of quarters and a few pennies and one dime. Today I made some program adjustment on my custom program and retraced my exact path as yesterday. I was using the xlt with the 8 inch coil today. It found 8 quarters, 2 dimes, a nickle, and 6 pennies . They all rang out loud and clear . I did notice a lot of +95's so I deleted that number on discrimination edit and accepted everything from -10 to +94. I do believe the 8 inch coil is the most efficient coil to use on the xlt and save the 5.3 bullseye for those really trashy areas.
