The weather here sucks. Dark and dismal and rainy and windy and we may even get snow in a day or two. Just freakin lovely. I ain't never going to get

sounds like you live here in Pa. that's how the weather was today. i hope that this weekend will be at least sunny so i can get out and md a bit .

Sounds like depressing Uncle Willy . Dark dismal and rain, and rain and wind. Time change really makes it tough. Most of the work week I get home with only a little time left in the day, mainly for domestic duties and no time for detecting , so I feel like I aint going to get out detecting , but the sun will shine on this dogs butt another day.

:usaflag:Oh well...yesterday I removed the batteries from my pro-pointer and detector(s) and put them away until April. Woke up to 17 degrees.

But I can see your point, it has to be frustrating when you CAN detect but the weather simply won't cooperate

It was a beautiful day in my area, but I just could not get into gear and go dirt fishing. The weather you describe reminds me of a joke this comic told one time. The host on the TV show he was on asked him if he remembered the first time he had sex. He said yes, it was a terrible night. The lightning flashed and the winds blew and the thunder roared and the rains came with a howl. I was afraid and all alone. The crowd laughed for 5 minutes.

Yeh Bill..Me and my lady just spent a week in San Fran and it was beautiful and sunny everyday...and about 60-62 degrees. Came back today and Medford/Rogue valley was dark sky and rain....oh well. Thats why its called Sunny California. Met a dude on the beach in SF detecting w a Whites MXT...talked detecting/gold mining, he and his wife live in the Sierra's. Nice chap. He gave me a little history of the area, very interesting.

Why ot move down south where you can at least detect several days during the winter? It got down to a freezing 53 here last night and will be in the shivering high 60s here today! Onus
