It has been said of Christians that conversion makes our hearts a battlefield. On the day we make a commitment to Christ, a war begins. Prior to conversion, we are basically where the devil wants us to be: not walking according to God's plan. But when we put our faith in Christ and leave the devil's control, he wants to reel us back in. Thus the spiritual battle begins.

This is a war, and you will be either a victim or a victor. Which one will you be? The choice is up to you.

When we aren't satan's any longer, after we become saved in Jesus, old slew foot is right there trying to get us back into the darkness with him to battle against other Christians! But, praise God, he has to flee when we speak the Word of God for he cannot stand to hear the truth!
