The VORTEX Is Getting Ripe.....I See A New Forum Off In The Distant Horizon

John, I just picked up a so-called used v-9 and did the 2.07 update yesterday. I am not as dedicated as you so I will have to wait the unusually bad Ohio winter out to give it a go. I have a sneaky suspicion that it is going to be a nice detector. At first glance, it is well built and has a super easy menu. I also have a Legend and limit my adjustments because of the "sub menu" driven adjustments. For all waiting to see if the Vortex will produce, I will know within the first two or three hunts. I have had just about every Garrett made in the last twenty years and every one has exceeded my expectations. Can't wait till spring.
I am interested on how you like it. I ordered one, and like you have many Garrett detectors. I have done very well with mine.
