Got a chance to take my AT PRO out for a couple hours today. I went to a local park that is not very old but has a lot of clad and trash. I had hunted the very same area with my F 70 about a week ago and found several dimes that I had missed with my other detectors. Today I ran the Pro over the same ground and picked up 15 coins from 2 inches to 8 inches deep, /i also dug a 2 inch piece of aluminum tubing at 10 inches, I did find one wheat cent and that one was the 8 incher. This is the first wheat I have found there in 3 years of hunting the tot lot and grass areas. I must say the AT Pro has a lot of promise for coin hunting in areas where silver exists. I should get to some old property this week and will keep you up to date. This detector is a winner hands down. A best buy in my opinion. Good hunting all.
PS the AT PRO does identify bottle caps from coins extremely well.

C'mon!....Is it as fast and comfortable as the (F70) quick broom? Nice tone capability? Give glory to God here, Coinseeker...lay down the smack, and keep the details coming!

Hey Mud, The machine has a very fast recovery and swings quite comfortably in the hands of this arthritic old geezer. I do like the pro setting tones almost as well as the F 70. The weight is not much different from my F70 because I have an inline Sunray pointer on it and not on the AT Pro. There are times where the AT Pro is the best choice and times when the F70 would be the first choice. As I have mentioned before they compliment each other to cover about any type of hunting you are faced with and conditions that exist. I can't think of needing any other detector right now unless I get into serious gold hunting. I will get a good chance to compare the two in Tennessee and Texas this summer as well as Louisiana. Take care and happy hunting. Maybe you and I could do some hunting together in Mich or Indiana sometime.
