The Value of Treasure
"Thy word is light; it gives understanding" Proverbs 119:130, NEB
The Value Of This Treasure from God is of more value than silver or gold. Its value cannot be estimated. It is found in the Scriptures, the Bible, God's great educator and lesson book. True higher education is gained by studying and obeying the Word of God. But when it is laid aside for other books that do not lead to God, the education gained is a perversion of the word education. God's lessons are also seen in nature, but these lessons do not impress the mind of those who do not accept the Word of God and who see it as old-fashioned, stale, and uninteresting. But those who have been made alive by the Holy Spirit see the Word of God as a priceless treasure, given to us by the greatest Author and Teacher the world has ever known, who gave His life for us.
Questions: What do you think is a well-rounded education? Is it based on the degree or various degrees you got? Do they make you feel important? Did this rounded education include an exposure to a knowledge of the Scriptures? If so, was it just biblical knowledge or a personal knowledge and relationship with Jesus Christ?
