The V-Break Technology.

I recently read an advertisement for the G2 and the add said "Not to be fooled by other competitor's imitations" I didn't know that other brands of detectors had the "V-Break Disc" like the G2/GB. Who else has it?

I saw a few videos of the At gold and At pro and their iron separation is not near as clean or as fast the Tek and Fisher models.I still don't understand how a company can copy someone elses design and then call it their own idea.

A T Gold, well after working around a one , sorry the Pro . Same thing different programing , I like all detector's they all have things they do well at. But , find one you like and learn it . I love the G2 and the GB pro. They work well for me.

what is it now 8-9 year's?

You can set it to break on a treasure baron with goldtrax module for the last 20 year's....So sometimes advertising can be sketchy to say the least....

I remember the Treasure Barons because I had one and I forgot that you could set the low and high tone break but these newer models are a little different in the way they work and way faster and more accurate in the iron.Although my Baron was very good at identifying iron and or rejecting it but it so heavy after an hour or so I couldn't stand the weight. One thing I've noticed through the years is every detector that I had that had a metal case was the quietest detectors I have owned. That's why sometimes I wonder if some of these newer plastic models have internal shielding on the case.
