the ultimate pro pointer and parking token

The neighborhood kids wanted to go hunt with me....wow when that plug is dug and pulled back there must have been 20 hands trying to find what it was......no bending at all. All I had to do was dig and pinpoint...they did the rest. The funny thing was that we found a few very cool items....now they all want their parents to get them an ACE150 for christmas.....Reason # 291817 why this hobby is awesome. I found an old parking token with an old fashioned car on it.....anyone ever find one of those ? I wonder how old it is ?
Happy Hunting ! Andrew

[size=large]I had somewhat of the same experience last month. I only had one 4-5 year old watching me for about 20 min. He kept his distance and just watched. Then i looked up from digging and he was standing in front of me looking in the hole. He then followed me from one hole to another. At one point he stuck his hand in the whole and fetched the coin. up til then he had asked questions and watched as i dug and retreived. Next thing was he was reaching in before i could. this drew a crowd of his sister and her soccer team. these girls were around 10-11. they watched for two or three holes but were called back to practice. the young boy stayed . Now also all this time i'm working my way back to my truck cause the girls teams were taking over the area i had been hunting. It was just funny and wonderful to watch this youngster learn. His grandma was somewhere near and watching over him so i made it back to my truck. I know i'll bump into this kid again and this time he won't be shy. i may have to give him the shovel maybe his sister too. Just wish my grandkids could come out. they're too far away. It sure adds to the hobby.
