The treasure of coins found in Russia

vay

New member
Hello, my name is Andrew, I'm from Russia.
I want to show you a treasure trove that we found last summer.

Coins from 1760 to 1805.
2 full pot, 1,200 coins.

Look better in HD.

Well would like to clap my hands and say thanks for sharing but unlike other Americans here I do have alot of relatives living there., if they are Silver and Gold I know you need to turn them in to the Government. Its the same with all the governments there, Ukraine,Belorussia,Russia,Litva,Polska, etc etc etc.Have friends that i meet on ebay years ago that search and dig for WW2 artifacts, those are OK to sell and export with the exception of any live ammunition of course which there are just tons of that in and around eastern Europe. Many detectorist have died or been injured digging in WW2 battlefields

 Thanks for showing us the find of a life time. You will have a hard time beating that, but good luck in the future. Nice video. :jump:

So after all the coins are washed off, what types of coins did you find?

Yes!! Whats the rest of the story??

Very hard to tell from the video but they look like Russian 5 and maybe 10 kopeks. Cool find even if they were only large coppers!

Andrew,
How did you know to look in this area? Did you have an idea these pots were buried there? As a previous post said, what's the rest of the story?
