The three W's?

Having detected for a lot of years I have built up a fine collection of oddities!

Some of the items have been straight forward to identify, coins and everyday items can be ID quite easy.

You then dig up a item or a coin and you ask yourself what, why and when?

Here are two items which needed outside help to find out the three W
