the1781 half real was found in 1995 by a whites coinmaster 3 at 6 in. in staunton, va. the 1773 2 real was found by a bounty hunter pioneer 202 [yeah, a bounty hunter] last summer at 6 in.here in colonial heights, va. the 1795 2 real was found almost exactly 2 years ago at an old house in richmond, va. at 8 in. deep by a [again] pioneer 202 bounty hunter. you know, i spent many years of my hobby disregarding and not even putting a thought toward bounty hunter detectors... if any of you think theyre toys,[like i did] then the proof is in the pudding...all of what i found today on the battlefield post are the direct result of it... surprised even myself. ive had 3 separate coronaries finding these things, so i hope you enjoy the pics... and please post your finds, no matter how small. hh,

I have my own "Colonial Trio" I'll post sometime.

It's quite a rush, ain't it?

Thanks for the pictures. I'm the guy who asked everyone to post some previous finds. Love those reales!! I thought for a moment, that I asked a taboo question, when I posted it. I got no responses. I was just about to give up. Kind of like when you tell a joke at a party and no one laughs. Thanks for saving my embarrassment. I know we can buy some of our finds for a couple of bucks, but it's the thought and fun we had along the way, that makes them special!!! Thanks for sharing
