The Teknetics G2 Does Great As A Coin Detector :teknetics:

I went back today where I found the 2 gold rings yesterday and a couple of silver coins the day before that to see what else I could find. I decided on using the G2 with the NEL Sharpshooter coil. I was able to run full sensitivity and I set the tone break at 50. I dug 8 or so wheat pennies before scoring the 1962 Rosie. I wanted to make it at least a 2 silver day, so I stayed at it even though I had to go really bad.:) I need to stop drinking so much coffee in the morning, before going to that site, because there is no place to go. Period. I found several more wheat pennies and I just knew that there had to be another silver coin for me to put my coil over. Finally, I got a good reading for a silver coin and dug up big chuck of shinning twisted metal. It turns out to be a piece of sterling flatware that got hit with a mower I guess. It weighs 22.35 grams.

The modulated audio is one of things that I really like about the G2. That and it runs quiet, ID's great and gets good depth.

Good run, lots of diggin. Now go back and find the rest of that silverware. GS

You know that thought did cross my mind.:) I know when I find a pendant, I immediately flip over to all metal and start searching around for the broken chain.:detecting:

Ealton, I think most people can empathize with the situation.

I just want to give an accurate account of what's happening during the hunt.:detecting:

It's not all 'Rosie' out there when your detecting.
