For those of you that don't know, I got out of the hospital not long ago.
Had the third round of the most drug resistant form of staff infection. It
takes a terrible tole on the body.

I went relic hunting Sunday. The Arkie heat and humidity was aweful.
After about 150 yards into the woods, I started throwing up. I worked
my way back to my car and went home. My finds are still in my pouch
in the trunk of my car.

I have been in bed most of the time sense then.:goodnight:

This morning I took my son to school for his last day before summer.
On the way home I couldn't stand it. I stopped at the park and started
hunting the tot lot. Found a silver neckless, a broken butterfly and a
pressed penny.

After about an hour I am back in bed now. I may not be able to hunt for
a while.

I think I'm dead in the water.

So keep the finds coming til I can get back in the saddle,

Tabdog,

Get healthy my brother. It's the most important thing. You will be back at it in no time. Those staph infections are scary. Get lots of rest. Just think of the time off as being time for the tot lots to be re-seeded with lots of goodies for you to get.

Hey Tabdog get you some rest and get well! I really do hope all the best for you my friend, take care, Beale.

Gosh TD...
I hope you're able to beat that infection quickly.
We'll say a prayer for you.

Best,
rmptr

...and I got one for you today... will post...

TD: Young man it is rest and relaxation for you for the next few days. Get your self a plug or chewing tobacco, corn squeezings and sit back in your recliner and let the world go by for the next few day. See you when you get rested... Jer

I have to let things take care of their selves a little more for a while.

They always accused me of not taking off long enough to recooperate.

I've always had a hard time listening.

Now my body is demanding it.

So, I better listen and take care of me for a while.

I love this hobby,

but I will build my strength until I am ready to enjoy it in the field.

I'm not going any where. So don't think you've gotten rid of me.

And be careful, or I'll play a trick on you,..........

tab!..take care of yourself, and be well!

regards!

Hey TD,
I just found this pic from Zinc, Arkansas, showing the last few residents in 1935.

While you're resting up, you might want to do some research and make a trip to MD there when you're up to snuff.

The name comes up on Google maps, but I didn't look much...

Sure hope you get to feelin' better soon.

Best,
rmptr

Thanks for the photo.

You are right, I need to get up to Zink.

Here is a photo in a ghost mining town called Rush.
